Modern 1911 pistols have a distinctive appearance that separates them from the original ones made more than 100 years ago. However, thats not to say the classic design is entirely gone. This WE Tech Metal 1911 is built to resemble that model, and the company did a great job.

The slide and frame are aluminum and coated with a chrome finish for the original 1911 look. Other than the required orange tip, you can barely tell its an airsoft replica at first glance.
Even though the design is older, the magazine capacity matches modern pistols limits. Many modern 1911s can hold around 14 rounds, and this airsoft replica has 16 BBs in the magazine. Thats more than enough when your rifle runs out of ammunition, and you need to continue shooting.

The adjustable hop-up allows experienced users to calibrate the weapons shooting trajectory. The BBs will fly where you want them to hit with some fine-tuning.
Unlike the original 1911, the grip panels are made of bakelite plastic instead of wood.
