Tokyo Marui produces remarkable Airsoft rifles, and this AEG is no exception. The FNH-licensed SCAR-L/MK16 is a formidable weapon, with high-quality externals and a lot of firepower. The gun can work wonders on the battlefield.

One of the main highlights of the MK16 is a robust design. It comes with a heavy-duty, nylon-fiber lower receiver and CNC-machined aluminum upper receiver. Both items are extremely powerful and can survive unscathed after drops from considerable heights. The upper receiver also features FN Herstal trademarks that complement the color scheme nicely.

To the back of the gun lies a six-position folding stock and cheek riser. They provide much-needed stability while shooting the rifle, allowing you to take down distant targets. The weapon’s length can be adjusted to accommodate close-quarter combat situations.

The AEG utilizes Tokyo Marui’s proprietary recoil shock system to provide more realism to your skirmishes. Replicating recoil and muzzle flip produced by firearms, the model bridges the gap between Airsoft battles and real-life shooting. The system also locks the mock bolt back after firing the last round, enabling you to reload and return to action quickly.

The top section is home to a Picatinny rail ideal for mounting various accessories. It’s compatible with numerous scopes that can enhance accuracy and facilitate long-range shooting. You also get flip-up sights to further aid your precision.

The magazine is a mid-capacity item that can store 82 rounds. Lastly, the weapon comes with a version 9 next-generation gearbox.
