The Needletails futuristic appearance is appealing to most airsoft enthusiasts, but thats far from the only unique thing about it. It also boasts fantastic performance and is very straightforward to use.

At first glance, the Needletail looks like a CQB-focused weapon. And yes, it does fare exceptionally well in closed-in encounters. However, thanks to its tight bore 6.03 barrel, both the weapons FPS and range are on-par with some much longer (and less convenient) weapons. This airsoft rifle wont impress in long-range encounters, but this isnt what it was built for. Its field midrange performance, however, is something that youll want to talk about with every airsoft enthusiast.

Thanks to the 18:1 gearset made out of reinforced steel, the Needletails cycling rate is simply brilliant. Furthermore, the rifles 8mm bushings make sure that the gears operate smoothly, making this weapon extremely dependable.

The Needletail is equipped with a 25k high-torque motor, which is a regularly seen feature in rifles of the type, but it also boasts low-resistance copper wiring. In addition to improving the weapons overall functionality, this wiring cuts off the power supply from the battery before its completely drained, drastically improving the batterys longevity.

If you wish to change the rifles current FPS, you dont have to open the gearbox the Needletail allows you to quickly replace the strings, practically enabling the user to switch the FPS on the go.

Then, theres the Lancers proprietary Fast Trigger feature. Along with the flat trigger design, it contains a MOSFET, and an ETU, all inside the gearbox. Add the featured wiring reduction to the equation, and you get an amplified trigger response. Expect FPS consistency and 20-25 RPS from the trigger.

As is the case with most airsoft rifles, you dont get an included battery and charger inside the package. When buying the rifle, make sure to get a 11.1V LiPO Stick battery as well.
