Many accessories like red dot sights, flashlights, and lasers will stay attached to the rails. Since no iron sights are included, its best to get some optics immediately.
The receiver is made of polymer, while some components are metal. Weighing eight pounds, you can attach a sling to the points and carry it around easily. The gearbox is reinforced metal to keep up with battlefield stresses and provide consistent performance.
