The AKS74M is a version of the former standard Russian infantry rifle, the AK74. This gun has a folding steel stock instead of a solid polymer stock. The orange metallic muzzle brake has an authentic Russian design too.
The stamped steel folding stock is sturdy despite its seemingly lightweight build. Likewise, the receiver is stamped and made to endure all kinds of battlefield stresses.
Instead of wooden furniture, this AEG has a two-piece polymer handguard. The handguard has no tactical rails on it, but it can be replaced by parts that do. Behind it is the adjustable rear sight.
The iron sights are identical to the real thing, though you shouldnt expect this AEG to reach ranges of 400 meters. Instead, youll find them more useful in airsoft skirmishes.
On the left side of the receiver is a scope mount rail. You can attach AK scopes or Picatinny optics platforms.
Users can access the full-metal gearbox and insert batteries by removing the dust cover.
