This Crosman Fire air rifle is chambered to shoot 0.177 caliber pellets. Normal air guns have a louder report the faster ammunition flies, but not this one. Crosman installed its QuietFire shrouded barrel to cut down the noise level.
With a softer report, you can take out pests and tin cans in the backyard without anyone batting an eye. Make sure you only aim in safe directions.
The Crosman Fire operates using the companys Nitro Piston technology, which fires alloy pellets at 1,200 fps. Heavier lead pellets clock in at 1,000 fps but offer more stopping power.
While you cant see it from the outside, this rifle has a two-stage trigger. Each stage is individually customizable and lets you create the perfect pull.
On top of the receiver is an 11 mm dovetail rail, which is ready to accept the unmounted CenterPoint Optics 4 x 32 mm scope. Because this gun doesnt have iron sights, youll need this optic or an aftermarket one.
The stock and handguard are made of lightweight but durable polymer. This material reduces the guns weight and still prevents the internals from getting damaged. A rubber butt pad is attached to the stock and provides more comfort, even after extended shooting sessions.
