The M16A5 may not exist in real life, but the idea eventually led to the development of the M4. However, its what WellFire Airsoft decided to call this extremely short rifle. This one is spring-powered, making batteries for the action completely unnecessary.
When collapsed, the M16A5 airsoft short-barreled rifle is only 23.5 inches long, making it easy to stow away. Its also almost wholly polymer, and it weighs 1.48 lbs. Thats about as light as some handguns.
The rifle comes with a laser sight and foregrip, which you might find attractive. While its not the best weapon in an airsoft war, it will function perfectly as a prop. Other than the orange tip, this one is styled for realism.
Even if youre using it for target practice, the laser sight wont let you down. You have to give it some batteries, but the rifle itself needs to be cocked before shooting. The safety catch is also functional.
