The Amoeba AS-02 Striker, or Stubby, is a solid choice for anyone who likes using specialty airsoft rifles. This sniper rifle shoots at a velocity of 400 FPS with .20g BBs. The AS-02 Striker isnt exactly the lightest or fastest airsoft rifle youll encounter on the market, but its to be expected for a rifle of this type.

The rifle body itself is a combination of polymer and metal and weighs a whopping 9.06 lbs. While its heavier than your average AR, its about average weight for a specialty gun and is perfect for camping on a perch and picking off targets.

There are plenty of opportunities to change and upgrade different facets of this airsoft rifle, including the modular cheek rest on the stock. You can even grab a barrel adaptor and add a mock suppressor to get into the role.

Before you get into upgrading your Amoeba AS-02, youll want to marvel at its stock features. Out of the box, this beauty includes a metal shoulder rest attached to the butt of the gun and a metal rear sling point that can be changed to either side. It also has a removable grip with a storage area for two Allen keys for your rifle.

Dont forget to check out the load indicator with a discreet red line to let you know when you need to reload and to prevent double loading in the chamber. Its a small feature but it can make a difference when you pull the bolt and put the rifle down.

If you like to see your round chambered, this rifle lets you do it. Unlike other airsoft sniper rifles, you can have the bolt open. The feature may not make a difference, performance-wise, but it increases that cool factor just a bit.
