The DMR in the name of this rifle stands for Designated Marksman Rifle. Although sniper weapons are a different category altogether, the DMRs are essentially a mix between assault and sniper rifles.

The AEG Masada DMR DE has an extended handguard, a long precision rifle buttstock, and an extended full-metal barrel. The upper receiver is full-length and made out of metal. It is compatible with most optics for enhanced precision. The model comes with flip-up sights and the rear sights are removable. If you want to use optics with this airsoft rifle, youre going to have to buy them separately.

Similarly, the battery and charger arent included in the package. However, the model uses a 9.6v 1600mAh Small Butterfly Type battery, which is very common with A&K rifles.

The lower receiver is built out of high strength polymer, which is lightweight but resilient and sturdy. The upper receiver is full-metal, meaning extra longevity and resilience.

For easy hopup adjustment (which increases the range of airsoft weapons), there is a working mock bolt catch. This means more points in the DMR column. This is also what makes the AEG Masada DMR DE one of the best DMR models on the market.

Make no mistake, though, this is a brilliant assault rifle in itself. It boasts a 300-round capacity and features a semi-auto, full-auto, and a safety firing mode. It is also compatible with most M4/M16-style magazines even though this isnt an M4/M16-style rifle. This means a lot of versatility which is essential in the field.

The gearbox is made out of 7mm metal and is fully upgradeable.
