Unlike the usual Crosman 760 Pumpmaster, the 760X comes with a scope in the package. Its identical to the 760 in practically every aspect. However, the addition of a scope is excellent if you arent sure which optics to choose.
The 760X Pumpmaster weighs only 2.1 pounds. Two or three of them can make up the weight of a competition air rifle. If youre getting one for children or teenagers, this is an excellent choice for beginner shooters.
While this gun may appear to have wooden furniture, its actually made of polymer. This material can withstand drops and bumps without shape distortion. Moreover, its how you get such a light rifle.
To fire this rifle, insert ammunition into the magazine or chamber, depending on what you want to shoot. Pellets must be loaded one at a time, but BBs can slide into the magazine and reservoir.
Next, you can start pumping between three and 10 times. The more you pump, the faster the gun propels the ammunition. Faster shots also mean better accuracy.
