This rifle is Gamos .22 caliber version of its popular Raptor Whisper air gun. Aside from caliber, the mechanics and appearance are practically identical. You can operate both rifles using the same muscle memory.
You get a comfortable and lightweight polymer stock when buying this rifle. It has a rubber pad to prevent shoulder pains, which occur when you shoot for extended periods. The forearm has some checkering, which is practical for wet hands.
Gamos Smooth Action Trigger is a two-stage and adjustable system. Every person has different preferences, and you can make the rifles trigger match yours with some tinkering. A smooth trigger is superior to stock units that usually dont feel great to pull.
On the barrel is Gamos Whisper technology. It keeps the rifles report softer and works similarly to firearm suppressors. Therefore, you can shoot without fear of noise complaints.
The Gamo Inert Gas Technology piston is powerful, propelling pellets at 975 FPS. .22 caliber may have a lower muzzle velocity, but the extra mass increases the energy transferred to a target.
