The Crosman Vantage NP air rifle doesnt just come in .177 caliber; you can also find it in .22 caliber. This version offers increased stopping power when hunting game, as smaller pellets can sometimes fail to take them down humanely. In addition, this Vantage rifle doesnt have a scope.
You get a classic-style raised comb wooden stock with a rubber pad at the end. Its durable yet comfortable to grasp, and your shoulder wont complain at the end of the day.
The rifled barrel is covered by the companys QuietFire device, which works similarly to a suppressor. It slows the outgoing gasses down. By the time they leave the barrel, theyre slower, and the crack is softer than without the device.
Each Vantage has a Nitro Piston powerplant, the source of the weapons high muzzle velocities. With lighter pellets, you can see speeds of 950 FPS. Of course, lead pellets will fly slower but have more stopping power.
As this rifle doesnt have an optic, youll need to buy one first and mount it onto the dovetail rail.
