This DMR from Lancer Tactical is based on the M14 rifle once fielded in the Vietnam War. This particular replica is an upgraded variant meant to act as a designated marksman rifle, which was a better role for this gun. Therefore, there are some changes not seen on the standard-issue M14.
For example, you have an adjustable cheek rest piece made of polymer and rubber. It helps with long-range shooting and keeps your face comfortable even after lots of aiming. Furthermore, a thick rubberized buttpad frees your shoulders from aching.
There are adjustable iron sights that make aiming precise, but you can also mount a scope onto the Picatinny rail near the front. While its not the most comfortable location, its located there because of the receivers design.
Unlike the standard M14, this wooden stock has a pistol grip thats quite comfortable to hold. It has a protrusion for comfortable grasping.
This DMR has sling points for convenient carrying, but the sling is sold separately.
