If none of the Crosman 1077 guns impress you, theres always the wooden stock version. This rifle is mechanically identical to the original. However, this example has a beautiful wooden stock and rubberized buttpad.
The fixed magazine cant be removed for reloading, but you add ammunition using a different process. You insert a rotary 12-round clip instead, which is then ejected and replaced after shooting all 12 pellets. Therefore, its very unlike a typical magazine-fed gun.
Two iron sights are mounted onto the barrel an adjustable rear notch and a fixed front blade. The latter has a fiber-optic insert that helps with aim. It glows in the dark too.
For scopes and optics, you can attach them to the dovetail rail on the receiver. Take care only to mount accessories designed for air guns equipped to withstand the forces other sights arent.
For safety, theres a simple crossbolt safety catch on the receiver. You can prevent any accidental discharges by engaging it.
With a maximum muzzle velocity of 522 FPS, this air rifle can do well in plinking and pest control. Its a powerful but quiet weapon that wont annoy the neighbors.
