The Crosman Legacy 1000 is among the companys most advanced variable pump-action air rifles. It holds a single .177 caliber pellet and propels it at up to 1,000 fps if its made of alloy. Lead pellets can reach 750 fps.
Thats not all, as the Legacy 1000 can also fire BBs. It has a 17-round capacity for them and a reservoir that holds 850 BBs. Thats enough ammunition to shoot for hours without resting.
The handguard doubles as the pump. You can pump it a maximum of 12 times to reach full power. Once you pull the trigger, the BB or pellet will forcefully hit the target.
To make pellets fly true, the barrel is rifled. The rifling rate is perfectly optimized to force the pellets into spinning for the best performance. BBs will also benefit slightly, but not as much.
Aiming is done using the included iron sights or 4 x 15 mm scope. The latter consists of an adjustable rear notch and fiber-optic front blade.
With the polymer stock and pump, you dont need to worry about the rifle getting wet.Please note: Always put a single pump in your rifle when you’re done shooting to properly seal it from dust & debris.
