The Gamo Swarm Whisper is also available in .22 caliber. Larger pellets are better for hunting than .177 caliber due to retaining more energy that transfers to targets. With more stopping power, you can take down prey and pests humanely without much room for error.
Of course, you can use this rifle for target practice and backyard shooting. The larger caliber is more challenging to shoot and trains your marksmanship skills.
The IGT gas piston propels alloy pellets at 975 FPS, but you can fire heavier ammunition at slower speeds if the situation requires it. Even with lower muzzle velocities, lead pellets and similar ammunition have even more stopping power.
The Whisper technology reduces the gunshots loudness by a significant margin. Youll be surprised how quiet the gun is compared to unsuppressed air rifles.
While the Swarm Whisper doesnt have any iron sights, you get a 4x32mm fixed magnification scope in the package. This optic attaches to the 11mm dovetail rail snugly. The rail will accept other aftermarket optics if theyre compatible.
