The convenience of 9 mm Parabellum and the ubiquity of the AR-15 has resulted in the union of both. Pistol-caliber rifles are usually designed for close-range encounters but can also hit targets at medium-range. The G&G ARP 9 2.0 embodies this from tip to stock, entirely optimized for quick shootouts.The handguard is outfitted with M-LOK rails, a system developed by Magpul to allow for more customization freedom. While the top rails remain Picatinny, everything else is ready to accept M-LOK rails and accessories. In addition, the gun comes with an M-LOK hand stopper that goes to the bottom and prevents mishandling.The top rails are connected and support a wide variety of optics. The flip-up iron sights that come with the SBR also go there, but they can be removed if necessary.Both the charging handle and magazine release are ambidextrous, and the latter isnt the button-release M4 carbines have. Due to the different magazine styles, a lever release replaces the button.A flat-face electronic trigger is installed to increase response time. Its connected to the MOSFET system and the gun can be programmed to shoot in three-round bursts. Compared to a traditional trigger group, electronic triggers perform much better when shooting rapidly.The compact GOS-V9 PDW stock is attached to the buffer tube, replacing the longer standard M4 crane stock. This shorter stock is still stable and doesnt wobble when you shoot. The length lets users carry the gun even in tighter spaces.
