The Crosman Shockwave NP also comes in .22 caliber if you prefer a larger projectile. Some hunters favor the extra mass, allowing them to hunt slightly larger animals better. Otherwise, the rifle works brilliantly for target practice and other activities.
Visually, the .22 caliber version doesnt differ much from its .177 cousin. You get the same all-weather polymer stock with a raised comb. The rubber buttpad makes shooting comfortable, especially if you plan to do it for long periods.
Crosman installed its QuietFire technology on the barrel to cut down noise levels, while the Nitro Piston technology is what lets the rifle achieve such powerful velocities.
Aiming is possible via the iron sights on the barrel. These sights are made for close range, but you may want to hit targets from farther away. In that case, you can attach the 4×32 scope to the dovetail rails.
With the help of a two-stage adjustable trigger, you can make the rifle an extension of yourself. Theres plenty of room for customization.
