This E&L AKS74U is a direct replica of the famous Russian PDW. It retains the unique muzzle brake shape and design but is painted orange for the American market. Best of all, the receiver and barrel assembly are made with riveted stamped steel, which is exactly how the actual gun is made.
The handguard is made of wood, similar to the original AKS74U. The fixed front sight is in front of the handguard, while the rear sight is a little distance behind.
Though there arent any modern tactical rails, this gun does have the old-style Russian AK scope mount rail on the left. You can also mount optics to this rail.
The pistol grip is made of plastic and has the dark maroon color of the original. While not entirely ergonomic, its the same as the real gun. The steel stock has similar characteristics.
